Training

helping youngsters develop confidence & life skills

through the experience of the performing arts

The Children's Academy of Stage Training is an independent theatre school where 4 to 18 year olds boost their self confidence and life skills through performing arts. Our sessions run along side regular school terms and outside schooling hours, and a week long Summer School. We offer confidence and skill building tuition in performing arts and stage craft, that culminates in a full, onstage performance in a professional  theatre.

We pride ourselves on our high standard of work, inspiring confidence in all our pupils and nurturing their talents. With the emphasis on enjoyment our training programme develops the whole person, helping youngsters to tune their communication skills and challenge their imagination while achieving an understanding and full appreciation of the performing arts.

Have fun looking around our web site and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Andrea Lewis Jarvis. Principal.

Our programme provides opportunities for youngsters to explore a vast range of stage techniques and genres - musical theatre, jazz and modern dance, improvisation, devising, melodrama, popular singing styles, characterisation, accents, comedy, physical theatre, stage combat and much more.

At the end of each term there is a Cast showcase performance for friends and family, bringing together the skills learnt each term and providing an opportunity for our pupils to gain not only performing experience but also a sense of achievement and self-assurance.

So whether you are destined for a career in the performing arts, want to learn new skills and techniques or just want to make new friends in a fun and friendly environment then The CAST is the place to start.
